In the midst of this unprecedented global pandemic, the wellbeing of our guests and employees is our top priority.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to all those who have been impacted by the current situation, either directly or indirectly, and we are truly inspired by all those who are working tirelessly on the front line looking after people in need.

We are monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak closely, collecting all relevant information from government and medical authorities in order to adhere with issued directives.

We have also created our own Wellbeing initiative to enhance existing hygiene and cleaning protocols at Mackinnon Suites. The programme is designed to address the wellbeing of our guests and employees alike.

Key highlights include:

  1. Specially curated training programmes for employees covering preventative measures for COVID-19 including social distancing, mask wearing and personal sanitization.
  2. Mandatory temperature screening for all guests, employees and visitors.
  3. Sanitizer stations throughout the hotel.
  4. Regular sanitization of all public areas including public washrooms, front desk, elevators, deck area, bar and restaurant, plus all crockery, cutlery and tableware.
  5. Advanced & stringent deep-cleaning protocols.
  6. Re-modelled hotel and restaurant layout to support safe distancing.
  7. Advanced disinfectants for long-lasting protection.
  8. Sealing guest rooms after sanitization to ensure the highest level of hygiene.
